Lithium Arcade ("Lithium Arcade", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Playlithium Interactive LLC, runs the free, family-friendly web arcade at arcade.playlithium.com (the "Site"), a general-audience site offering family-friendly browser games and intended for users aged 16 and over. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site does and does not collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built the Site to be enjoyed without accounts and with as little data as possible.
This Policy covers the Site itself. It does not cover the third-party games that play on the Site, which are operated by our games partner (see Third Parties), or any other website you may reach by following a link. Those services have their own privacy practices.
We do not collect: names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, or other direct contact information; user accounts, logins, or passwords; and we do not knowingly build advertising or behavioral profiles of any user.
We collect or process only the following, and only as described below:
Lithium Arcade is a general-audience site that is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and over (see our Terms); a younger player should use the Site only with a parent or guardian. Two age lines do two different jobs here, and it helps to be clear about both:
To do that, when you first interact with personalization you may see a one-time, neutral prompt asking whether the player is under 13 or 13 or older. This prompt is not an account and collects no personal information. We store only a simple, non-unique setting in your browser (for example, ageGroup=under13) so that we don't have to ask again. The setting, together with your approximate region, determines which protections apply below. The under-13 handling described below is a safeguard for younger visitors, not a sign the Site is aimed at children.
The interactive games on the Site are not offered to users under 13 in regions with strict children's-privacy laws, including (for example) the United States (COPPA), the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom (GDPR / the UK's Age Appropriate Design Code, or "Children's Code"), Switzerland, Brazil (LGPD), Canada, South Korea, India, Australia, China, Indonesia, and South Africa. In those regions, a user who indicates they are under 13 is not permitted to play and is asked to have a parent or guardian use the Site instead; in several of these regions (including the United States, the EU/EEA, the UK, and Switzerland) the interactive games are currently paused entirely. We do this because the embedded third-party games carry advertising and tracking we do not control (see Third Parties), which is not appropriate to offer to children in those jurisdictions.
In other regions, the Site is available on a general-audience, family-friendly basis. If an under-13 player nonetheless uses the Site in those regions, we still protect them as follows:

These do not require consent and are always on.Because privacy rules differ by region, we apply your approximate region (from your IP address) to decide how cookies are handled, using Google Consent Mode v2: when the Site loads, analytics and advertising storage start in a denied state, and we update that only after we determine your region and, where required, receive your choice.
You can change your choice at any time using the persistent “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, which re-opens the banner. Your choice is stored only in your own browser. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the "Reset my recommendations" control, removes these values from your device.
We do not run targeted or behavioral advertising on our own pages, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising from the Lithium Arcade Site itself, apart from the embedded third-party games described below. We do use Google Analytics 4 and, for measuring our own marketing, Google's advertising/measurement tags; how those are handled by region is described under How we manage consent. We do not ourselves serve on-page banner or behavioral ads on the Site.
The embedded third-party games are different, and we do not control them. The games are operated by GamePix and load inside iframes on the Site. GamePix uses its own cookies, trackers, analytics, unique identifiers, and fingerprinting, and it serves advertising inside the games — including behavioral and targeted advertising ("ads tailored to the User's interests and behavior, including those detected outside this Website"). For U.S. residents, GamePix states that this "constitutes a Sale in California" and "a Sharing in California" of personal information. These practices are governed by GamePix's own Privacy & Cookie Policy and are outside our control. Games (GamePix). The games on the Site are third-party content provided and operated by our games partner, GamePix, and are loaded within embeds (iframes). GamePix uses its own cookies, trackers, analytics, unique identifiers, and fingerprinting, and it serves advertising inside the games — including behavioral and targeted advertising ("ads tailored to the User's interests and behavior, including those detected outside this Website"). For U.S. residents, GamePix states that this "constitutes a Sale in California" and "a Sharing in California" of personal information. To be clear, this describes GamePix's conduct inside the embedded games, not ours: the commitments we make elsewhere in this Policy (no targeted/behavioral advertising, no cross-site tracking, no sale of personal information) apply to the Lithium Arcade Site, and we do not control what GamePix does inside the games. GamePix's data practices are governed by its own Privacy & Cookie Policy, which we do not control; we encourage you — and parents and guardians — to review it at https://www.gamepix.com/privacy-cookie. If a game appears to behave inappropriately, please contact us (see Contact) and we will look into it with the partner.
Hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare). The Site is hosted on Cloudflare's platform (including Cloudflare Pages, Workers, and the D1 database) and served through Cloudflare's global edge network. Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses and request metadata) on our behalf to deliver, secure, and operate the Site.
We practice data minimization: we keep only what we need, and we do not keep it indefinitely.
Because we hold little or no information that identifies you, the most effective control is usually in your own hands: clearing your browser data or using "Reset my recommendations." You may also contact us with any request described below.

As described in Under-13 players & restricted regions, the interactive games are not offered to users under 13 in regions with strict children's-privacy laws — including the United States (COPPA), the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom (GDPR / the UK Children's Code), Switzerland, Brazil (LGPD), Canada, South Korea, India, Australia, China, Indonesia, and South Africa — and an under-13 user in those regions is asked to have a parent or guardian use the Site instead. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. In regions where under-13 play is offered, we keep no individual identifier or profile for those players, and their play data contributes only to anonymous aggregates, so a verifiable parental consent process is not required for it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. This Policy describes our practices; it is not a claim of certification by any regulator.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR may apply to any limited processing we carry out. Because the Site is designed to operate without accounts and with minimal, largely anonymous data, in many cases we will not hold information that identifies you. To the extent we do process your personal data, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to that processing, and to data portability, as provided by law. As noted above, EU/EEA/UK visitors receive a more conservative personalization experience consistent with ePrivacy and children's-data rules. To exercise a right, contact us (see Contact); you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where required, Playlithium Interactive LLC is the data controller for the Site.
We detect your approximate region from your IP address (used transiently) so that we can apply the right protections — for example, restricting under-13 play in regions with strict children's-privacy laws (see Under-13 players & restricted regions), and providing the more conservative EU/EEA/UK experience. The Site may be operated and data processed in the United States and other countries; by using the Site you understand that limited technical processing may occur across borders, subject to applicable safeguards.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we will note material changes on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
